At Drain Line Construction we specialise in Drainage and Ground Works Civil Engineering
About Us
Drainline Construction is a civil engineering contractor operating in London and the South East that offers services in all areas of drainage and ground works to builders and developers as well as residential clients.
Our fully-trained operatives carry out sewer connections and repairs by means of timber headings and open-cut methods. We also specialize in underpinning, shaft sinking, timber headings, small diameter tunneling, and utility contracts.
Excellent communication, relationships and service are the foundations of our delivery model
The DLC operatives all have relevant NRSWA, CSCS / CPCS and confined spaces qualifications, having completed all training that is required for these contracts.
DLC provide a full service that includes programming, liaison with local authorities, obtaining the road opening and road closures, but we can also provide all method statements and risk assessments as well as temporary works designs.
UNDERPINNING
At DLC we also undertake underpinning again to both residential and commercial clients. We are also fully compliant with current Health and safety and legislation and our operatives are kept current with regular training courses, updates and toolbox talks.
DLC offers a comprehensive service in the connection of main foul and storm sewers, and also carry out full site drainage service.

Accreditations
DLC maintains various accreditation’s to ensure the highest standards in the workplace. These accreditation’s which require third party Audits, demonstrate we do our business & practises correctly and meet or exceed above and beyond best practise. These audits ensure we constantly review our policies and procedures. This assists with our continual improvement and gives our clients confidence that we do what we say we do to the highest standards.

These accreditation’s are for Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety. They consist of visits to our Depots to access our policies, systems and processes and also site visits to inspect the work being carried out by our Operatives. Some of the accreditation’s are specific to the work we do.

We are members of a number of industry schemes that demonstrate our commitment to delivering a consistently excellent product and service to our clients. They include: Achilles, CPCS, NRSWA, Nebosh, EXOR, City & Guilds, The Green Organisation, Living Wage, CSCS.

Drainline Construction have worked with J. Coffey Construction on our Crossrail Project at Plumstead on numerous occasions. The scope of works has been sewer connections, pipe laying, temporary works, deep excavations and Thames Water connections. On all works I have found them to be on time and extremely helpful with offering solutions technical queries that arise during the works. The operatives are experienced and efficient at the works they undertake.
